CHERRY ANGIOMA
A Cherry Angioma is painless and harmless, but many people find that they are unsightly and want them removed for cosmetic reasons.
They are the most common vascular lesions to appear on the human skin, usually in patients over the age of 40.
They are made up of clusters of dilated capillaries on the surface of the skin, which accounts for the cherry red or purplish colour. They can occur anywhere on the skin, but are most commonly found on the neck, face, chest or back. There are many types varying in depth and clinical appearance.
Most Angiomas can be quickly removed using the Lam Probe, using a series of 'taps' to the effected area. Results are instant, leaving a small white patch of skin which will fade over a period of time.
