THREAD VEINS (TELANGIESTASIA)

Thread veins or broken capillaries, are tiny superficial dilated blood vessels that appear as red wavy lines on the skin, particularly around the nose, cheeks and even the décolleté area.

Constant stimulation causes the thin elastic walls of the capillaries to vasodilate eventually leading to breakage. Thin, blotchy skins, as well as those who suffer from allergies, are more likely to suffer from telangiestasia, but they can also occur from skin trauma such as a fall.

These tiny veins can be treated with the Lam Probe in one treatment for a small area or by a series of treatments for larger effected areas, to completely return the skin to its normal appearance.
